Instead of burning fuel in combustion chamber, indirectly heated Pulse Combustion Dryer employs either electric heating element or air-to-air heat exchanger to heat drying gas. Drying gas is pure air, CO2, or N2, with no combustion byproducts, and no potential for flame contact with products to be dried. Suited for high-purity and solvent-based applications, system provides gas-dynamic atomization and rapid drying with low degradation of delicate products.
