Specimen Self-Heating Control (SSHC) is add-on to Instron® WaveMatrix™ Software package for dynamic and fatigue testing of polymers and composites. Using difference between specimen's continuously recorded temperature and pre-specified temperature target, solution maximizes testing frequency in closed loop. Resulting tests run at maximum frequency while keeping specimen temperature within tight band (as little as ±0.5°C). Temperature signal can be provided by any standard sensor system.
