Cory Jacob Kaiser, the township's 29-year-old assistant foreman, spent about a week in jail after Pennsylvania State Police, Chambersburg, charged him with simple assault, resisting arrest and harassment. He was freed after a bail hearing on June 30 where he posted $80,000 bond through bondsman Kenneth E. Stake of Fayetteville.
