(Telecompaper) Indian operator Reliance Communications (RCom) reported a net profit of INR 1.08 billion for the third quarter ended 31 December 2013, up 2.7 percent from INR 1.05 billion in the year-ago period. Revenues went up 1.9 percent to INR 54.03 billion from INR 53.01 billion a year earlier, as domestic revenues went up 3.2 percent to INR 46.37 billion and global revenues fell by 8.3 percent to INR 10.90 billion. EBITDA grew 11.6 percent year-on-year to INR 18.45 billion and EBITDA margin stood at 34.2 percent versus 31.2 percent in the year-ago quarter. RCom said MOU was down 1.8 percent at 101.9, but ARPU grew 11.6 percent year-on-year to INR 125. Data traffic was up 85.2 percent to 41.70 GB and the data user base rose 31.2 percent to 36.2 million, including 11.1 million 3G customers.
