RTL secures exclusive football broadcasting rights

(Telecompaper) RTL announced it has secured new extensive rights from UEFA to broadcast 28 of the 40 advertised football games that the German national team is playing between 2018 and 2022. Furthermore, RTL has gained the exclusive TV rights for the qualifiers for the World Cup in Russia in 2018 that will be played between September 2016 and October 2017.
