Using SMS for long-distance applications, ARC-10 alarming and remote control solution incorporates Quad Band (850/900/1,800/1,900 MHz) GSM/GPRS modem, 2 digital inputs, 2 power relay outputs, and serial RS-232 port. Up to 500 users can be configured to switch relay output with toll-free phone call, and as many as 10 users can be configured as alarm recipients. All SMS functionality remains intact during GPRS operation, and all setup and control can be accomplished via mobile phone.
