Rail crossing to close for track work

Crews for All Aboard Florida, the intercity passenger rail service under construction by Florida East Coast Industries, will close the intersection of 3rd Street at Quadrille Boulevard in West Palm Beach to work on the tracks and prepare for construction of the 60,000-square foot West Palm Beach station. The intersection will close at 10 p.m. on Sunday, July 19 until about 5 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22. Crews will install 120 feet of new track parallel to the existing track, to keep freight operations going as All Aboard Florida builds the new station.
