Railroad repairs to close W. Lawrence crossing

Railroad repair work will close a city crossing on West Lawrence Avenue for one week, beginning this Tuesday, May 27. According to Charlotte's Department of Public Works Director Amy Gilson, the Lawrence Avenue railroad crossing will be completely closed to traffic throughout the duration of the repairs by Canadian National Railway.
