Theres nothing better than the feeling of being able to throw your horse a loose rein and be confident that hell stay soft and supple and between the reins. I guess the difference between horses and kids is that, while I want my kids to go out on their own and carve out their own destiny, theres a part of me that wants to keep hold of those reins.
