This application note presents a cost effective solution for testing a complete radar system using the R&S®FSW Signal and Spectrum Analyzer, the R&S®SMW200A Signal Generator and the Oscilloscopes R&S®RTO/ R&S®RTE. With these devices, arbitrary virtual targets are generated making it possible to perform real-time tests on many kinds of aerospace and defense, or commercial radar systems.
