Regal Beloit closes on purchase of Emerson's power transmission unit

Emerson's Power Transmissions Solutions unit has more than 3,000 worldwide employees and reported more than $600 million in revenue in 2014. Regal Beloit Corp. has closed on its acquisition of the Power Transmission Solutions business from St. Louis-based Emerson Electric Co.
