(Telecompaper) India's new mobile operator Reliance Jio has unveiled its price plans, at parent company Reliance Industries' annual shareholders meeting, the Financial Express reports. The operator is already offering a free 90-day trial with the purchase of a smartphone from certain brands. At its full launch, it will offer the cheapest data prices in the world, according to Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani. Its plans will all come with free calls, including VoLTE, and customers pay only for SMS or data. The basic plan offers 300 MB and 100 SMS for INR 149 per month. For INR 499, customers get unlimited SMS and 4 GB data, as well as 8 GB over Wi-Fi and unlimited 4G at night. The offers go up to 75 GB mobile data and 150 GB Wi-Fi for INR 4,999. Jio's commercial launch will be on 05 September.
