Representative Lance honored as BIO Legislator of the Year.

BIO announced its selection of Representative Leonard Lance (R-NJ) as Legislator of the Year for 2015. In addition to calling Lance "a champion of America's biotechnology industry," BIO President and CEO Jim Greenwood noted Lance's leadership on such critically important issues as Medicare Parts B and D as well as introducing FDA Safety Over Sequestration Act. Latter protects privately-paid user fees paid to the FDA from any future sequestration.
