A group of residents of Hill City in western South Dakota are trying to gather support for a local assisted living and affordable housing complex. The Rapid City Journal reports Hill City, which is come to about 1,000 people, lacks a suitable facility for senior citizens or people with disabilities who are unable to live entirely on their own or require some level of nursing care.
