Last year, the West Coast port strike hit Christmas sales hard at retailers across the country. Now, low water levels at the Panama Canal could make this anything but a Merry Christmas for retailers like Children's Place , Columbia Sportswear , Staples , Steven Madden and Wolverine World Wide , who have exposure to East Coast ports.
