Replacing previous versions, ISO 9001:2015 standard sets out the requirements for a quality management system. Standard builds on 7 quality management principles, and incorporates elements such as stronger focus on stakeholders and wider context of organization to fit evolving needs of modern business. Serving as companion document, ISO 9000:2015 contains detailed explanations of the 7 quality management principles, as well as terms and definitions used in ISO 9001.
