A lot more attention may be given to Motorsports Hall of Fame inductees each year, but no less important to the industry are those who are named to the Automotive Hall of Fame, for without their innovations and devotion the industry there would not be any cars to race. This year's inductees include Roger Penske, 78, founder of Penske Corp. and Penske Racing; Elwood Haynes, who co-founded Haynes-Apperson Automobile Co.
