Genesus has appointed Joe Rogowsky, veterinarian as director of health and biosecurity, reporting directly to Jim Long, president and CEO. Rogowsky has had experience in large swine production systems for the last 13 years, most recently working as animal health manager for Maple Leaf Agri-Farms 2007-14, where he designed, instructed and mentored staff/contract producers on animal health, animal welfare and food safety programs for 80 to 100 owned, managed or contracted swine farms in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. read more
