PC-controlled using New Scale Pathway™ software, New Scale rotating stage integrates high-torque, direct-drive piezoelectric motor, precision ball bearings, optical encoder with zero reference mark, and New Scale drive electronics and closed-loop control system. Drive measures 44 x 44 x 36 mm, has no measurable jitter, holds position without power, and generates no magnetic fields. Specifications include 350°/sec speed, 3,000°/sec² acceleration, and 10 mN-m stall torque.
