Industrial duty 4B Rotech encoder protects equipment and personnel from dangerous underspeed or belt slip conditions. Unit features sealed housing and is bolted directly to machine shaft; it is suited for machines with speeds ranging from 1–1,500 rpm. High speed versions can monitor shaft speed up to 5,000 rpm. Rated CSA Class II Div. 1 and IP67, AC/DC units are also available with 1–1,000 ppr and offered in -40°F and 302°F versions.
