Reagan National Airport fire and rescue crews inspected a Southwest Airlines plane that reportedly had smoke in the cockpit as it landed Wednesday evening, but officials found no damage, Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority officials said. Authorities checked Southwest Flight 4086, which was inbound from Chicago Midway, on the runway as it arrived about 7:30 p.m., said Christopher Paolino, an airports authority spokesman.
