Russia to launch auction for 1,800 MHz licences

(Telecompaper) The Russian Ministry of Communications and Mass Media and the state commission for radio frequencies SRFC have decided to carry out an auction for licenses in the 1,800 MHz band. Winners of the auction will receive bands for GSM, LTE and future modifications in 10 regions across the country for 10 years.
