SAIL numbers lack edge

New Delhi, May 29: Steel Authority of India Ltd today reported a near 20 per cent fall in net profit for the year ended March 2015 at Rs 2,093 crore compared with Rs 2,616 crore in 2013-14. For the fourth quarter ended March 2015, the state-owned steel maker's net profit declined 26 per cent year-on-year to Rs 334 crore from Rs 453 crore in the January-March quarter of 2013-14 on lower sales realisation and higher finance costs.
