SEC investigating Joy Global's Chinese acquisition

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is investigating Milwaukee-based Joy Global's accounting around its purchase of a Chinese-based company it acquired in 2011. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has served a subpoena on Joy Global Inc. to find out more about its acquisition of International Mining Machinery Holdings Ltd., according to a press release by Joy Global.
