SIA declares offer for Tigerair unconditional

SINGAPORE: Flagship carrier Singapore Airlines on Monday declared its takeover offer for Tiger Airways unconditional after taking control of just 57 per cent of the budget carrier. The move means that shareholders who accept the offer will be paid even if SIA does not own 90 per cent of Tigerair - which was a condition of its takeover offer.
