In an effort to recognize valuable contributions made within composites manufacturing industry, SME‘s Composites Manufacturing Tech Group annually presents Composites Manufacturing Awards. This year's J.H. "Jud" Hall Composites Manufacturing Award went to Mamidala Ramulu PhD, Boeing-Pennell professor of engineering and professor of mechanical engineering at the University of Washington. ATK Aerospace Structures received 2014 Excellence in Composites Manufacturing Award.
