On November 6, 2013 at SPE® Automotive Innovation Awards Gala, SPE Automotive Division named winners of 43rd Annual Automotive Innovation Awards Competition. Awards for most innovative use of plastics in ground transportation were presented for 8 categories: Body Exterior, Body Interior, Chassis/Hardware, Electrical Systems, Materials, Powertrain, Process/Assembly/Enabling Technologies, and Safety. Grand Award winner was also named at same event.
