SWEPCO gets approval for Flint Creek project

Southwestern Electric Power Co. has received approval from the Arkansas Public Service Commission for a project to retrofit its Flint Creek Power Plant in Gentry with environmental controls to continue operation as a coal plant, according to a news release from the company.
