(Telecompaper) Samsung Electronics has introduced the Galaxy Note 8.0 at the Mobile World Congress. The tablet features an 8-inch WXGA screen, uses a new generation of Samsung's S Pen, and comes with pre-loaded content and apps. The Galaxy Note 8.0 is powered by a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor, runs on Android 4.1.2 and features an accelerometer, digital compass, A-GPS and Glonass support, 5-megapixel camera, as well as Wi-Fi and optional HSPA+ connectivity. The Galaxy Note 8.0 will be available from the second quarter worldwide but Samsung did not reveal any price information.
