Offering up to 5 µm resolution and repeat accuracy for positioning applications, SL083 integrates non-analog magnetic linear encoder and has 2-part design – tubular stainless steel shaft and non-contact forcer – that simplifies installation and configuration. Solution also has built-in interpolator and Hall sensors and offers real-time single processing and high dynamics without any residual force. Max speed is 4 m/sec, and non-critical air gap eliminates variation in force.
