An Albuquerque elementary school was under extra security Tuesday, a day after the school was abruptly put on lockdown as authorities searched a nearby neighborhood following reports of an active shooter. The beefed-up security presence at Manzano Mesa Elementary School follows a tense afternoon that forced parents to wait for hours to pick up children.
