Sears Canada seeks to suspend some supplier payments

Department store retailer Sears Canada is to seek court approval next week of a sale and investment solicitation process (SISP) and the suspension of certain payments, including those made to retirees, suppliers, and associates whose positions were recently eliminated, or will be shortly.
