Servo Motor Brakes feature zero backlash design.

2016-03-03 14:31:06| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today

With Eclipse Servo Motor Brakes, no energy is consumed when brake is disengaged, unlike electrically released brakes that consume power continuously. Spring-engaged/air-released design keeps brake cool until it is needed and supports holding and E-stop applications. Supplied in square-shaped housing, brakes mount to shaft end of servo motors up to 20 hp, including NEMA 23, 34, and 42 frame sizes. Units offer torque range of 2–125 Nm with high torsional rigidity and no system wind-up.
