Cargill Inc. has agreed to settle allegations that it violated Clean Water Act at two large oil storage facilities in Blair, NE, and Eddyville, IA. Clean Water Act requires facilities that store large quantities of oil to develop Facility Response Plan that outlines procedures for addressing worst-case discharges of oil. EPA identified lack of response plan during 2013 site visits at Cargill’s facilities.
