Sewer Pressure Management Project: Upshur Shaft

This fall, Environmental Services will install a valve and underground vault on NW 11th Avenue between NW Northrup and NW Overton streets to reduce the rare build-up of air pressure in the public sewer system that can occur during intense rainstorms. The valve will help to ensure the sewer system operates safely and efficiently.
