Shareholder asks AutoZone to Disclose More Political Detail

AutoZone's board of directors is recommending shareholders vote against the motion a shareholder plans to present at the company's annual meeting in December which would ask the auto parts retailer to provide greater detail on its political spending. The New York City Comptroller which AutoZone says owns 154,443 shares of its common stock plans to present its motion at AutoZone's Dec. 18 annual meeting in Downtown Memphis.
