Source: University of Illinois   The high cost of ingredients for pig starter diets including fish meal is leading producers to look for alternatives, says a University of Illinois (U of I) researcher. Protein sources of animal origin provide highly digestible protein in diets for weanling pigs.  New research from the U of I is shedding light on the nutritional value of four alternative animal proteins as sources of protein and energy for weanling pigs. read more
