Designed for low horsepower draw and free machining, VSM17 Platform provides cutters for shoulder milling, profiling, face milling, slotting, ramping, and helical/circular interpolation. Cutter bodies have integral chip gash design for chip evacuation along with hardened-steel construction and hardened pocket seats. VSM17 offers aggressive ramping capability up to 8.8° and max 0.642 in. depth of cut. With multiple corner radii and positive rake faces, inserts provide true 90° wall.
