Siemens AG will provide two wind power-generating turbines each with capacity of 4MW and technical assistance for Formosa I Wind Power to set up an offshore wind farm west of Taiwan, according to Siemens Taiwan president and CEO Erdal Elver. The two turbines to be used in Taiwan's first offshore wind power project are Siemens-developed SWT-4.0-120 model and will be erected 6km from the shore with water depths of 15-30m.
