Siemens touts order for 21 wind turbines for Kansas project

Siemens says it has received an order to supply 21 wind turbines to the Alexander wind project located 120 miles northwest of Wichita. The Hutchinson-based company announced Thursday in a news release that it has reached a deal with NJR Clean Energy Ventures, a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources, for the 48-megawatt project in Kansas.
