Sikorsky registers big 2014 gain

In a fourth quarter of intrigue at its parent company, United Technologies, Sikorsky Aircraft increased sales by $1.2 billion in 2014, a 19 percent gain even as it warned of turbulence ahead as military sales dwindled. UTC increased profit 10 percent from a year earlier to $1.47 billion, or $1.62 per diluted share, compared with $1.46 billion, or $1.58 a share, in the year-earlier period.
