Released as part of HyperWorks 12.0 computer-aided engineering software, SimLab v12.0 was created specifically as pre-processor for detailed computer models of complex vehicle powertrains. SimLab's role in simulation preparation includes feature-based solid meshing for structures like engine crankcases and cylinder heads, and setup of simulation loads and boundary conditions.
