Six suffer minor burns at Texas high school when medical device explodes

Six people were injured at Lone Star High School in Frisco, Texas, when an emergency oxygen device exploded. The Dallas Morning News says a nurse and firefighters were treating a student with medical needs when the device exploded and released a substance with a high pH level. The substance hit the student’s sibling, the nurse, an assistant principal and paramedics and firefighters. They were treated at a local hospital for minor skin burns and released. Safety at School
