BusinessGreen: Renewable energy projects such as wind, solar power and geothermal energy developments will each year have to compete for a share of 205m under the UK's new clean energy subsidy regime, the government revealed today.
But the solar power industry accused the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) of undermining the development of the cheapest renewable technologies, after it emerged they would have access to just 50m of the annual funding pot.
