The S.C. Supreme Court has upheld a nearly $3.6 million ruling to a woman who sued an Upstate automobile dealership over a “closing fee” she and thousands of other buyers were charged when purchasing cars. A Pickens County jury leveled the judgment last year against Hendrick Honda of Easley after finding that the dealership added an arbitrary administrative charge ranging from $249 to $299 per customer.
