(Telecompaper) US mobile operator Sprint reported a return to revenue growth in its fiscal second quarter to September, the first growth in over two years, thanks to a steady improvement in customer numbers. Operating revenues rose 3 percent year-on-year to USD 8.25 billion, and wireless revenues were up nearly 5 percent to USD 7.85 billion. Adjusted EBITDA rose 17 percent to USD 2.35 billion, driven by over USD 1.1 billion in cost reductions in the year to date. Sprint maintained its target for over USD 2 billion in savings by the end of the year and adjusted EBITDA for the full year of USD 9.5-10.0 billion.
