By Joe Vansickle Growing up at Sand Springs, IA (east of Monticello), Al Wulfekuhle developed a passion for pigs at an early age. He spent a lot of time helping his dad on their 90-sow, farrow-to-finish hog farm, but it was really a summer spent working for a large farmer in the area who had multiple employees and newer equipment and facilities that piqued his interest.
