State official says Dan River oil spill impact is minimal

A spokesman for Virginia's environmental agency says a motor oil spill will have minimal impact on the Dan River. Bill Hayden of the state Department of Environmental Quality tells the Danville Register & Bee that "we didn't have anything too serious" in Monday's spill.
