Supplied in 3 x 3 mm, 10-pin DFN package, XRP6670 can supply up to 3 A continuous current with adjustable output voltage as low as 0.8 V with better than 2% accuracy. This synchronous current mode PWM step-down (buck) regulator operates from 2.6–5.5 V input and accommodates range of inductor and output capacitor values through its constant 300 kHz to 2.5 MHz programmable operating frequency. Over-temperature/-current, short circuit, and under-voltage lock-out protections are standard.
