Stocks Rise In Volatile Session; Middleby Breaks Out

The Nasdaq, the S&P 500 and the Dow Jones industrial average each rose 0.2% after pulling out of the red following the Fed's statement. Volume rose 10% on the NYSE and 2% on the Nasdaq compared to Tuesday, according to preliminary data.
